Australia’s number one computer criminal, eager to share their knowledge and help the helpless

A cybercrime policewoman, recently moved from Melbourne, eager to hunt down computer crime whilst harbouring a deadly secret.

What do all these people have in common?

There are drugs, there’s revenge, there’s Chinese farming investors and owners…

Meningie is a country town in South Australia, surrounded by farms and perched on the edge of Lake Albert. It’s a town you pass through on your way to somewhere else.

A place where not a lot happens, until six-year-old Lily Wilkins is crushed to death at a local farm.

Her father, Davo, an employee of the farm, is angry and grieving that no-one from the farm’s head office came to Lily’s funeral. Davo’s best mate Logan did. Logan is a small time IT business owner by day and cyber-criminal by night who lives with his mum after serving six years in the RAAF. Logan hatches a scheme to enact revenge.

But Logan’s plan goes awry. The only person standing in his way is insomniac Stephanie McBride, a civilian cyber-crime expert with the South Australian police.

But Stephanie has troubles of her own.
