Lee Hopkins is a UK-trained psychologist with additional training to Masters level in the art and science of counselling. Specialising in helping fellow Armed Forces veterans who might struggle with depression, bipolar disorder, or loss and grief, Lee can help lift a veteran out of the hole they are in and together find a future that is both believable and encouraging.

Some counsellors and psychologists come at you from the first session, pushing you to ‘do this then do that’, irrespective if that’s the real issue. The issue with that is very often what comes out in the first session is not what the real underlying issue is, it’s just what first springs to everyone’s mind.

I don’t work this way. I take the time to listen to you, perhaps over several sessions, to find out what you eventually discover you really should focus on. We then work on that, not whatever comes out from the first session.
