His entire contribution?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cDue to security reasons we are not able to click on external links. If you would like to move forward with any of the options provided previously please let us know.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>In other words: <em>we won\u2019t look at the evidence you\u2019ve already provided.<\/em> Screenshots, timestamps, case histories, and links to Amazon\u2019s own systems\u2014ignored. Why? Because of \u201csecurity.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is the absurdity I\u2019ve been describing for weeks: a corporate culture where <strong>process replaces thought, script replaces responsibility, and excuses replace action.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Naming names<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Here are the Amazon staff who have so far passed the parcel on this case:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Okiethia \u2014 Kindle Direct Publishing Manager<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Zulpha \u2014 KDP Support Manager<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Laura \u2014 Kindle Direct Publishing Support<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Eric \u2014 Kindle Direct Publishing Support<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Every one of them has apologised for the \u201cinconvenience.\u201d None of them has taken ownership. And still, my royalties remain inaccessible and my account locked in an endless two-step verification loop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The pattern is clear<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This isn\u2019t about a single employee failing. It\u2019s systemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Amazon\u2019s customer support culture is allergic to ownership. Staff are forbidden (or unwilling) to look at the full case history. Each new contact simply recycles the same script, while the customer grows more exhausted and more enraged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And at the top of this pyramid? <strong>Andy Jassy, CEO of Amazon<\/strong>. He is copied into these posts now because his name deserves to be linked\u2014over and over\u2014to the failure of the company he leads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Why this matters<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>For me, this is not a trivial complaint. I am a veteran living in Vietnam, reliant on Amazon\u2019s systems to pay me royalties I have already earned. When those royalties are blocked, I am not just inconvenienced\u2014I am denied income.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For authors, publishers, and anyone reliant on KDP: this case is a warning.
