7 Ways to Utilize Facebook Timeline for Business

Facebook Timeline provides an innovative approach for businesses to introduce and market their services or products to consumers. Some say it is the most important development within the Social Media network so far. Let us review seven ways Facebook Timeline can be used to market and facilitate your business. 

1. Establish Your Brand Image
The Cover display image is an 851 x 315 pixel banner on the top of the Facebook Timeline page. This provides a great opportunity for businesses to present a unique image based cover banner to impressive and embrace their clients.
This is a ground-breaking way for businesses to establish a positive brand image. It is not just about an impressive banner, it is about translating your message to the consumer so that they will remember it and will always associate your brand with your message. You brand should make consumers feel warm and confident every time they think about your company. The Facebook Cover image should be an attention grabbing and impressive graphic banner which will capture the consumer’s interest and make them want to interact socially with your business.

2. Promote Your Product & Services Simultaneously
Impressive banners can help to generate conversations among friendship circles. When people are talking about the impressive banner design, some of them are bound to purchase the products or services also. Promote Facebook Timeline and promote your product simultaneously. 

3. Offer Promotional Deals
Promotions, offers and exclusive deals may be offered on Facebook Timeline pages to entice customers to buy and interact. Traffic can be generated or directed towards a website with pinning. Iinning posts by all means create interest and engage more interest than any other post. Many web hosts pin old posts, photos, status updates or promotional applications in order to create interest and engage with their readers. A link to the company’s website should be present at all times for the best results.

7. Manage Posts and Fan Messages
Pinning posts can allow users to highlight important posts. If a customer makes a positive comment about the company, it can be displayed and highlighted so other customers are aware of the type of service the company provides. This is excellent publicity. The posts can appear the full length of the page by changing options. 

Likewise, old posts or unflattering posts can be hidden. Posts with broken links can be hidden or removed. This helps companies protect their brand image and only post items which will enhance the promotion of their product or service. Before posting, Timeline web masters should search the entire site and remove negative items. By organizing and creating a Facebook Timeline page professionally, companies can also help to increase the appeal of their reputations online as well. 

Businesses owners and consumers can also send and receive private messages within Timeline. This can be used as a customer service channel to address concerns and answer questions. Businesses can respond to people that contact with them to help maintain a positive brand image.
